The Living Legacy Society recognizes friends who have informed us that they have included ERS in their will, estate plans, or other deferred gift arrangements. These generous individuals have chosen to leave a legacy that will provide for the needs of older adults in a dignified and compassionate way for generations to come.
Members of the Living Legacy Society are honored and recognized in several ways, as they wish:
- A symbolic ceramic acorn, with the name of the donor, is placed in the Living Legacy Society cabinet at either Marjorie P. Lee or the Deupree House.
- Members are listed in the ERS Annual Report.
- Living Legacy Society Members are invited to a special Donor Celebration held annually.
Informing us that we have been included in your estate allows us to recognize your commitment and share our appreciation with you. Furthermore, it provides us the opportunity to discuss any specific ideas or intentions you may have for your gift. Finally, by allowing us to recognize you, your gift may inspire others to follow your example to create a legacy of their own.
